It’s taken me a few days to get back into a rhythm after attending the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas Nevada. With over 150,000 visitors flooding the hallways trying to get a glimpse into the future, it was an intense & inspirational experience. Not only did I have a chance to help my fiance’ as an exhibitor down in Eureka Park, but I was able to scope out, within 3 full days, a lot of exciting new technologies. Trying out everything from VR sets,4D Exercising machines, to smart tech devices that monitor your body’s H20 levels, there was an overwhelming introduction of technologies that will better human and non-human life. Everything from practical inventions that alert you if your infant stops breathing, to wearable tech devices that extend a quality of life for the aging. The future is about living a healthy life- Mind, Body & Soul!
Here’s an invention that completely blew me away….the NERVANA Headset…

NERVANA
The hand-held device from Florida-based NERVANA allows users to plug in a music player into a device and get the pleasurable signals delivered by its headphones.
Unique to any other product on the market, NERVANA lets you physically feel the music. Yes, you heard right….FEEL.MUSIC. I’m not talking about a solid bass drop, NERVANA stimulates nerves to magnify the pleasurable qualities of music. This new way to listen to your favorite song/playlist evokes sensations that stimulate your body to produce dopamine, the feel good chemical. Users simply plug in a music source, put in the NERVANA ear buds, and feel the gentle electrical signal dance to their favorite tunes. The settings can be easily customized with simple buttons and a sensitivity dial.
Which is pretty spot on. I tried on the headset, without any discomfort adjusting the headset’s power to 15. Something most certainly was happening. Right before I got up to give an interview on the experience, I began to feel a euphoria poor over me. Immediately I visualized the possibilities and shared them with the team. Treating depression, drug addictions, anxiety were just a few applications that I saw may have great potential.
